The Milky Way goes horizontal above Beaver Meadow Observatory. This shot was taken at the observatory about a month after I began astrophotography nightly. The sky where I live, outside of Buffalo, New York, has horrible humidity year-round, that seems to spike from 1 am until about 10 am. After being in the desert last month, it made me jealous I don't live near such dry skies.
